Together with the intermediate 140/145 watt intermediate module, the new elegant Full Black complete range will also be presented. It’s going to be a hit among van owners as it offers a more modern and coordinated look with the vehicle

CBE photovoltaic modules are also available in Full Black, as the name suggests. A detail of much greater significance today than in the past, perfect for achieving a different and coordinated recreational vehicle look. In particular, the Full Black modules will be appreciated by van owners, whose vehicles tend to be sportier in appearance, with metallic painted bodies, alloy wheels or high-impact design details.

Photovoltaic panels have almost become standard technical equipment for recreational vehicles. Low cost, not overly complex, making them easy to manage and environmentally friendly: an efficient and high-performance charging source. The panels are the first supply source for ensuring camper van batteries are in top form, in a win-win balance between cost and yield.

AL-KO Vehicle Technology Electronics, through its brand CBE, a historic leader of electric and electronic components for recreational vehicles, provides a full range of photovoltaic modules in its catalogue, to which new products will soon be added. Six models to be exact: three "classic" ones, in the natural anodised grey of aluminium (MF110 / MF145 / MF175) and three in the trendy Full Black version (MF105 / MF140 / MF170), in increasingly high demand on the market, now much more aware of aspects linked to the aesthetic impact of camper vans.

Made with PERC (Passivated Emitter and Rear Cell) solar cells, which ensure a higher level of conversion efficiency, while also providing additional technical advantages, such as a lower temperature coefficient, which in turn implies better performance, the CBE photovoltaic modules are built with an innovative manufacturing process. The special antireflection treatment and special high transmittance glass, resistant to knocks and atmospheric agents, have given rise to a high-performance photovoltaic module.

The backs of CBE modules are protected by a Tedlar sheet, a polyvinyl fluoride characterised by excellent chemical, electric and mechanical resistance properties, in addition to excellent UV ray barrier characteristics and resistance to atmospheric ageing. Thus the modules are protected from air and humidity infiltration, insulating electric contacts and preventing any oxidation. The module frame is made of anodised aluminium and the junction box installed on the back contains the by-pass diodes and cable glands needed for connection.

The presentation of the updated range of CBE photovoltaic modules at major exhibition events towards the end of the summer, starting from the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf, will mark the launch of the intermediate model in the catalogue, in the 145/140 watt versions (aluminium/ black).

CBE photovoltaic modules are manufactured with state-of-the-art technologies and latestgeneration standards. They comply with the most stringent requirements of European standards and are covered by a 25-year warranty on the declared power.
